Photo Invitations
Those of you who know me personally, know that I am always making invitations. It is part hobby and part obsession. I love to document our lives with pictures and beautiful paper crafts that go into my family scrapbook and memory chest. Here is Cruz's baptism invitation. I think it came out adorable. :)

Since I am missing my classroom a little too much, I thought I would post one of the fun projects I did with them for mother's day last year.
Materials needed:
1st pick a color scheme that you love, I chose yellow, orange and fuschia. Buy two coordinating ribbons in one of those colors, stick on jewels, glue dots (greatest creation ever!), picture of your child, paper frame (comes in packs of 10) and a decorative painted object...I chose the flower that went with my colors.
2. Hand out the frames and the markers to the students or your children and let them decorate however they choose too. I drew some designs on the board for inspiration. Once they colored their design using the jewel stickers we made it more snazzy, added ribbon to hang and a bow for good measure. Using the glue dots, we attached the wood flower.
3. Add the picture and voila! a supercute frame decorated with love for Mother's Day :)
These were a big hit and I know will be cherished for many years to come!

Michelle and Michael 09.26.2010 Garland, Texas
Today I shot my first official engagement shoot of Michelle and Michael. They booked me a month ago for their wedding on 10.10.10. How cool is that :) We had a fantastic time in Downtown Garland, Texas in spite of the weather. I am honored to say that Michelle and Michael will have the distinction of being my first official wedding. Although I have assisted and been a second shooter at hundreds of weddings...it has never been under my own business. Check out my facebook page and "like" what you see!
